Fantastic venue with friendly staff and the three courses for 20 is an absolutely great price point. Elaborate bowls and plates makes the already small portion sizes look smaller rather than complimenting them. The venue is aiming at a more 'fine dining' feel and if this is what people are looking for then it will cater that taste well. However, in my opinion, the quality of the food failed to justify the smaller portion sizes.
This has become mine and my partners special restaurant. We are never disappointed with the food or service. Menu is sourced with local, seasonal foods and is always exceptional. It may be pricey but you get your money's worth in the face of quality. We recommend Strattons to all our guests and friends.
Wonderful afternoon tea, one of the cakes a little dry but the rest very nice. Beautiful interior too.
