Good home made food with tea and coffee.. I had a good panini and cappachino. It's cash only.
Breakfast is always good .lunch has also been good and the cakes are wonderful and. Everything is home made staff are very friendly and helpful

The Tea Pot is hidden away in Plowright Place, a lovely spot with a pedestrian area. The service here is beyond good and the food, as long as you are not looking for anything 'fancy' or 'Bistro', is fresh and wholesome. Mainly salads, jacket potatoes, and the usual chili and rice and lasagna. The cakes and scones are home made and particularly delicious with tea or coffee. The price for these wonderful offerings is exceptionally reasonable, expect to pay around 6.95 for a main course!!If there is a downside it is that;it gets very busy, closes at 4 :00 p.m. and it's cash only.Highly recommended
Asked for sausage roll and filter coffee. Asked if I wanted cream or milk, hot or cold sausage roll either plain or one with onion. I chose cream, cold and plain. What was put on my table was a awful sausage roll which was tasteless, made with terible pastry and had onions on top of its meat. To top it off I was given milk not cream with my coffee. But to end on a positive note the interior has a warmer feel to it, much improved toilet, nicer tables and chairs compared to my previous visit, a fast counter service, food delivered to my table, friendly staff. Maybe the sausage roll is great when it is warmed up, but it should also be great cold.
